— you are born at random, somewhere on Earth. From the first photo your parents post to the last call you answer, fraud follows you. See what reaches you, what you can tell apart, and what a lens changes.
Painted Sky is a storytelling prototype by Trusterity, inspired by the life simulation 1 in 8 Billion and by the projected sky of Liu Cixin's Death's End — a world where people stop questioning what the screens show.
Birthplaces are weighted by approximate births per year; life length follows approximate national life expectancy. Encounters are archetypes of real, reported fraud patterns (task scams, "Hi Mum" messages, bank-impersonation calls, vendor email compromise, deepfake video calls, voice clones). The rates of attempts, the chance of spotting a fake and the 2036 world are scenario assumptions for storytelling — not measurements or forecasts.
Figures on the first screen: FBI IC3 Internet Crime Report 2024; the 2024 Hong Kong deepfake video-call case (Arup); GASA Global State of Scams Report 2024.
"With the lens" shows today's T-Frame coverage (browser, email, messengers, social) in the 2026 world, and the full Trust Defender trust layer as a 2036 vision. Nothing you type leaves your browser. There are no cookies; the site counts page views anonymously with Cloudflare Web Analytics.
